After months of anticipation, Captain Donna of the Airship Caravel debuted her newest ensemble. This dashing skirt and jacket are made of soft, caramel-colored fine wale corduroy. The cropped, side-buckled jacket (no lack of hardware here) has a stand-up collar that makes any neck look stately. A matching smooth front skirt falls just below the knee. The gathered elastic-waist back, and right-hip swag (held with a brass O-ring) add comfort and ease of movement. Both pieces are unlined and fitted—worn with the contrasting corset they need nothing more than a fine pair of boots and a dandy chapeau. (And lovely unmentionables, of course.) A trim look for captain or tinker alike. Brava!
